Further training... for me!

As a professional therapist, in order to maintain my registration with McTimoney Animal Association and the International Equine Body Worker's Association, I am required to do a certain amount of CPD (Continued Professional Development).

Last year, I went on a training course in Equine Laser Acupuncture, as an addition to the Low Level Laser therapy training which I attended in 2010.

This year, I am doing nearly three year's CPD requirement in one go (!!), as I have booked my place on an Advanced Equine Sports Massage course with Equinenergy. Equinenergy's UK base is at Writtle College, Chelmsford, but they are part of an international company with bases in the USA, South Africa, Australia to name a few.

I think it is very important that all therapists keep their skills as up-to-date as they can. On the course I am hoping to learn a few extra moves to keep my equine clients fit and happy. As far as I know, I will then be the only practitioner in this area holding this qualification.

Please note - I will be unavailable for appointments between 12-18 July due to my attendance on this course.
