Ongoing training

I have recently attended two interesting training days. The first one (which I organised) was with Lynn Henry, a horsemanship trainer specialising in Applied Equine Behaviour (www.lynnhenry.co.uk). The day was aimed specifically at the equine practitioner and was extremely insightful - since the training day I have decided to continue my training in Applied Equine Behaviour with Lynn in order to gain a qualification. The second training day was about saddle fit and rib adjustments, with training provided by Sarah Hedderley and Nikki Routledge, two of the tutors on the McTimoney course. The rib adjustment is an additional adjustment to that taught on the course, and since completing the training I have found the adjustment very useful. Saddle fit training complemented the rib adjustment training, as the saddle sits on the shelf of the ribs, so any misalignments in the ribs can affect the horse's comfort when saddled.
Both courses were very useful and I am hoping to do further training in both natural horsemanship and saddle fit.
